TERM 3 2026 PROGRAM Join us Thursday mornings (during school terms) and give your mini scientist aged 0-5, a head start in early years STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Maths). Activities vary each week and may include science experiments, sensory play, artworks, puppets, construction, playdough, story time, parachute fun and much more! Little astronauts can explore the wonders of stars, planets, moons, galaxies and get ready to ask big questions about Space! Thurs 6th Aug 2026 - Who Sank the Boat? This week we'll explore floating and sinking through splashy science experiments and playful watery fun! Meet the animal characters, test what floats and see if you can figure out who really sank the boat! Thurs 13th Aug 2026 - Vehicles & Transport From cars to trains and planes to boats, come explore how things move with hands-on fun, stories, and creative play all about vehicles and transport! Thurs 20th Aug 2026 - Up, Up & Away! Get ready to soar as we build flying machines to test in our vertical wind tunnel and create your own pinwheel to take home. Join us for some sky-high fun for little pilots and engineers! Thurs 27th Aug 2026 - Animal Adventure Jump into the world of animal homes as we explore different habitats through hands-on play, fun stories, and puppet pals! Pat some real taxidermy animals from the UOW research collection! Thurs 3rd September 2026 - Dinosaurs & Volcanoes Rumble, roar, and erupt as we dig into prehistoric play! Explore fossils, blast a mini fizzy volcanoes, walk like a dinosaur and much more! Thurs 10th September 2026 - There's A Sea in My Bedroom Dive into hands-on ocean fun with sand art, imaginative play, sea-creature puppets and more as we find out if there really is a 'sea' in our bedroom! Thurs 24th September 2026 - Bubble-tastic Science Explore the amazing world of bubbles as you make own blowers and wands! Who can create the longest bubble snake? Are you brave enough to put your head in a giant bubble?
