Celebrating 50 Years Since the Consecration of Our Church, Community & Culture St John the Baptist Serbian Orthodox Church Wollongong invite you to a night of dancing and celebration as for 50 years the bell of St John the Baptist has called the faithful to prayer, marking baptisms, weddings and funerals, and gathering generations of Orthodox Christians in Wollongong. We also commemorate 50 years of our historic church bell: the first bell cast at the Port Kembla Steelworks. We invite the Balkan Community to enjoy live music by Orkestar Šampioni with a four course meal and five hour beverage package to keep our hearts and stomachs full!
