BlueScope WIN Wollongong Eisteddfod Troupes

The BlueScope WIN Wollongong Eisteddfod returns in 2026. It is the Illawarra’s premier dance event and is proudly celebrating 132 years of operation, beginning way back in 1894. Often referred to by locals just as “the Eisteddfod” it is also the second oldest in Australia. This Eisteddfod is; held in high regard in performing arts arenas, much sought after for the high level of competition, an opportunity for dancers to perform in a high class Wollongong venue and one where performers deserve an audience. This year the event commences on Saturday July 4th and and continues on Sunday July 5th where you’ll be able to see many fabulous troupes from a dozen dance studios performing in the IMB Theatre. Following troupes there will be 6 days of solo performances in the IMB theatre. Tickets need to be purchased for the troupe weekend and are available from the Merrigong Box Office by phone, online or in person.
