Asking For It

By Lisa Maris McDonell (in perpetual development) Asking For It is a collaboration with the audience. Via live, emailed and written feedback, audiences ask for what they want from a show, and receive it – or not. Taking to extreme levels the idea of audience engagement, Asking For It navigates layers of consent while looking at notions of care, power and control within the audience / artist relationship. Asking For It began with an online performance and was invited to be part of a feedback workshop with Chloé Déchery and Marion Boudier (Performer Les Savoirs/Performing Knowledge) through Readymade Works.
