Wednesday 15th July - 8:30am Maddens Plains - Boomerang Fire Trail - 8:30am-11am Walk Leader: Andrew Wood 0401 907 025 please text if you plan to attend. Walk Description: Easy 2km slow stroll along wide trails. The distance can be extended as there are further tracks. Mainly heath and low forest. Parking/Meeting Place: The entrance to Boomerang Fire Trail is on the east side of the (old) Princes Highway 5km north of the junction with the Southern Freeway. Park either side of the highway. https://maps.app.goo.gl/w8SLEdcjbZWwhJq16 Toilets/Water: No water, bush toilet Terrain/Distance/Time/Shade/Seats : The initial route is 2km and can be extended along further trails. Minimum shade. Trails are wide and flat. Bring: Carry water, hat, sunscreen, morning tea. Wear sturdy shoes. Notes: Contact the Walk Leader if you wish to borrow binoculars.
